All About Marriage Meeting

In concert with the Creative City, the LAGLC, Equality California, Equality For All and Lambda Legal will conduct a Town Hall-style meeting to prepare the community for marriage.

Called “All About Marriage,” the FREE meeting promises to address the political, legal and personal impact of marriage on a community that, for the most part and just a decade ago, could not have imagine being allowed to wed.

The FREE meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Renberg Theatre at the Village at Ed Gould Plaza - 1125 N. McCadden Place, Los Angeles 90038, “to provide the latest information on the legal issues surrounding the marriage victory and the vitally important campaign to counter the latest assault on marriage equality and LGBT civil rights.

“[It] will also feature up-to-the-minute practical information for couples who are considering getting married this year—a ‘how-to’ for ‘I do.’”

Present will be West Hollywood Council member John Duran, LAGLC’s CEO Lorri L. Jean, President, Equality For All, Dean Logan, Acting Los Angeles County Clerk and Lambda Legal Senior Counsel Jenny Pizer.
